APPRA (Asia-Pacific)

In July 2010, on the occasion of the International Peace Research Association Conference held at the University of Sydney, Professor Akihiko Kimijima in the College of International Relations at Ritsumeikan University was elected Secretary-General of APPRA, bringing a shift in the location of the Secretariat to Kyoto, Japan. He started the list-serve of APPRA members just after his assuming the post. Now he is preparing the APPRA conference to be held at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto in October 2011.
