About the Peace Journalism Commission
The Peace Journalism Working Group aims at promoting research and supporting alternative ways of reporting in order to equip media organizations, journalists, and consequently the public with better options in order to understand complex situations more fully.
We want to improve the transparency and quality of reporting by providing the necessary contextual information surrounding events, using peace discourse, and by focusing on the issue and the contradictions rather than on one or two of the parties in a conflict.
